Advantages of Using CHEMIPEARL™
Additives for Abrasion Resistance and Slipping Property Enhancement
When added to ink, it provides moderate slipperiness and prevents scratching of the exterior surface.
Broad lineup
It is applicable to wide range of coating thikness because wide variety of particle size grades are available.
Low additive amount
It shows high performance at low adding amount bucause of relatively well-organized particle shape and sharp particle size distribution.
Tackiness control
It prevents film from sticking each other and to the coating machine during the manufacturing process of films, coated paper and metal foils.
It is also possible to control tackiness by adjusting the application amount.
How to Use
Add an appropriate amount to paints, inks, and coating materials.

Advantages of Using CHEMIPEARL™
Heat sealing properties
CHEMIPEARL™ provides high heat sealing property by coating to paper, aluminium, and nonwoven fabrics, etc.
*Heat sealing is the process of joining thermoplastic materials through the application of heat and pressure. It enables the edge of paper or film bag to be bond.
Anti-blocking performance
Since it is polyethylene-based product, CHEMIPEARL™ coated surface shows good heat sealing strength with low blocking. High-speed production line processing is possible by using CHEMIPEARL™ compared to other heat sealing materials and efficient production can be expected.
*Blocking is a phenomenon in which the coated surface sticks to other materials that it comes into contact with, or in which the coating is transferred to the other material.
Water and oil resistance
CHEMIPEARL™ can provide water and oil resistance to paper by coating and enables to use as a paper packaging material.
Low environmental impact
CHEMIPEARL™ contributes to the reduction of plastics use because it gives good heat sealing and water/oil resistance at 3–5 μm coating thickness. Since it is water-based product, it can contribute to a significant reduction of organic solvents, as well as in VOC and CO2 emissions. . It is also friendly to the work environment.
Recyclability
CHEMIPEARL™ coated paper can be easily returned to pulp slurry, and is expected to be used as a recycled packaging material.
