Hi-WAX™ for Mold Release Applications

Adding Hi-WAX™ to resin facilitates easy release of molded products from the mold, improving productivity. Due to its low compatibility with the resin, polyethylene wax migrates to the surface after addition, providing lubrication between the molded product and the mold during injection molding.

Usage
Instructions

Dry blend Hi-WAX™ with pellets of PC, PBT, PA, ABS, and PS, then perform injection molding.

Effect

During injection molding, the wax migrates to the mold interface forming a thin film, improving mold release and shortening the molding cycle. It also reduces mold contamination and maintenance effort, thereby enhancing productivity.
