Hi-WAX™ for Filler Dispersion Applications

Hi-WAX™ modified with polar functional groups exhibits excellent compatibility with various resins and fillers. It functions as a compatibilizer contributing to the enhanced performance of composite materials.

Usage
Instructions

Blend Hi-WAX™ with resin and filler via dry blending, followed by melt compounding using an extruder.

Effect

As an olefin oligomer modified with reactive groups, Hi-WAX™ enables improved dispersion control of various fillers—such as wood flour, cellulose fibers, glass fiber (GF), carbon fiber (CF), carbon nanotubes (CNT), and flame retardants—allowing for increased filler loading. This results in enhanced appearance, mechanical strength, and impact resistance of the final product.
