POLYMETAC™ is the latest solution from Mitsui Chemicals that can achieve strong bonding when combined with various metals and resins.
POLYMETAC™ is a technology that specially treats the surface of a metal, forming complex micropores into which a resin is poured to produce physically strong bonding.
Thanks to POLYMETAC™, it is possible to reduce the number of components or manufacturing processes used, to reduce weight by replacing some of the metal products with resin, and to bond metals and resins more strongly with injection molding alone, without the need for adhesives or mechanical joints that have been used previously.
