I am the overall in-charge of plant functions including Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Plant Admin and Quality & Management Standards. My roles include directing policies for the smooth operation of the plant site, development of plant personnels and also establishment and implementation of systems for compliance to rules and laws.
Besides on-the-job learning of technical expertise, I was given the opportunity to learn in-depth the core values and culture of Mitsui Chemicals through training in Japan and other countries.
Through hard work and dedication, I rose through the ranks from a Process Engineer to General Manager, overseeing the entire plant operations. I am the first Singaporean General Manager of a chemical plant in Mitsui Chemicals Group in Singapore.
