FEATURESFEATURES
- LUBMER™ is a special polyethylene developed by Mitsui Chemicals using proprietary polymerization technology. It can be injection molded or extrusion molded with high sliding properties, which is a characteristic of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. In addition to standalone molding, it can also be used as an additive to improve the sliding properties and abrasion resistance of engineering plastics and rubbers.
Generic Term | Form | Molecular Weight | Molding Method |

Special polyethylene with high sliding properties | Pellets | Non-disclosure | - Injection Molding - Extrusion Molding |
Sliding propertiesIt exhibits almost the same low abrasion coefficient as fluoropolymers
Demonstrates a low friction coefficient similar to fluoropolymers and exhibits superior abrasion resistance to other polyolefins and engineering plastics.

ModifiersWhen added to engineering plastics, sliding properties are significantly enhanced
The modifying sliding property effects on nylon are superior to when PTFE is added.
