Mitsui Chemicals receives “2018 Awards for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure”

Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. (Tokyo: 4183; President & CEO: Tsutomu Tannowa) announced that it received “2018 Awards for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure” in the chemicals and fiber sector, sponsored by The Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ). Having been awarded this honor in 2016, Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. was given this award for the third time in three consecutive years.
This award with its corporate disclosure evaluation system has implemented by SAAJ since 1995. Disclosure Study Group of SAAJ is to install evaluates disclosure of the quality, the amount, timing and so on along to the main items as follows.
- Top management attitude, the function of the IR department and the basic stance of the IR
- Information disclosure in briefings, interviews, and description materials
- Fair disclosure
- Information disclosure in corporate governance
- Voluntary information disclosure in line with the situation of each industry
