Otake Plant earns ISCC PLUS certification

Mitsui Dow Polychemicals Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Fuyuto Miyauchi) is proud to announce it received ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) PLUS certification, for resin products (HIMILAN™, NUCREL™, and MIRASON™) produced at its Otake Plant (Otake City, Hiroshima Prefecture) as of September 2025.
ISCC PLUS certification ensures that alternative raw materials, such as those derived from biomass or recycled sources, are properly managed throughout the supply chain.
Our company obtained certification at the Chiba Plant in 2024, and with the recent certification of the Otake Plant, we have now established a system that enables us to supply resin products produced at each plant based on the ISCC mass balance approach.

*The mass balance method is a control method recognized by the ISCC PLUS system, which assigns components to products made from a mixture of sustainable and non-sustainable raw materials in proportion to the percentage of sustainable raw materials input.
