Mitsui Chemicals Completes Acquisition of ISCC PLUS Certification

Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. (Tokyo: 4183; President & CEO: HASHIMOTO Osamu) is proud to announce that it has acquired certification under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS system for ACTCOL™ produced at its Nagoya Works (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) in January 2026, certifying sustainable products.
Aiming to expand the adoption of biomass-based products and chemically recycled products under a mass balance system, Mitsui Chemicals Group plans to continue working toward the acquisition of ISCC PLUS certification to contribute to further advances in society’s use of biomass and improvement of plastic recycling rates.
