Overview

FORTIMO™ 1,4-bis (isocyanatomethyl) cyclohexane (1,4-H6XDI) is a novel isocyanate with a highly cycloaliphatic structure, and high performance polyurethane elastomer based on it.
As TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and TSU/CPU (thermoset polyurethane / casting polyurethane), it can be used for a wide range of applications including high-durability industrial materials, sporting goods, general consumer materials, automotive materials and packaging materials.

It also offers a balance between high elasticity, high heat resistance and non-yellowing properties.

TPU(Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomers)

The FORTIMO TPU offers a balance of high elasticity, high heat resistance and resistance to low temperature, as well as non-yellowing characteristics previously considered difficult to achieve, and catering to a range of specific applications.

In addition to durability, heat insulation and non-yellowing properties, they also offer excellent molding characteristics.

FORTIMO TPUs offer superior elasticity and heat resistance than MDI and H12MDI type TPUs.

Softening temperature (℃), Impact resilience (%)

They also offer superior molding characteristics to MDI and H12MDI type TPUs.
