As a result of our researchers’ efforts, we have succeeded in producing materials and products such as eco-friendly automotive materials, human-friendly healthcare materials and sustainable agrochemicals. For example, we created highly functional nonwoven materials for disposable diapers which are gentle on the skin of babies. Another, is our development rice made of our high-productivity hybrid rice seedlings (non-genetically modified) that are served at many chain restaurants.

We have created solutions to solve pressing problems. For instance our new agricultural solution, iCAST™ (integrated Cultivation-Accelerating System), may be one answer to the serious global food challenge. The new system helps to maximize yield, reduce environmental burden and significantly enhances natural plant growth.

On top of that, we created Do Green™, a bio-cased high refractive index lens material using plant-derived material, that act as excellent lenses for everyday sunglasses. Doing so not only fulfils our responsibility as good corporate citizens, it also solves social issues facing rural farmers whose livelihood depends on producing raw materials.
