Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. (Tokyo: 4183; President & CEO: HASHIMOTO Osamu) today announced that it will implement the following organization restructuring on April 1, 2024, to further the promotion of the Group-wide Basic Strategy under the VISION 2030 Long-Term Business Plan.
1. Details
| （1）Establishment of Mitsui Chemicals ICT Materia, Inc. |

As Mitsui Chemicals ICT Materia, Inc. is established, it will be made a direct affiliate under the ICT Solutions Business Sector. In addition, Mitsui Chemicals Tohcello, Inc. will no longer be a direct affiliate under this same Business Sector. |
| （2）Closure of the PTA & PET Division |
Due to scaling back of the business, the PTA & PET Division under the Basic & Green Materials Business Sector will be closed. The PTA and PET business will be transferred to the Phenols Division within the same Business Sector. |
| （3）Renaming of the Fabricated Products Business Coordination Division |
The Fabricated Products Business Coordination Division will be renamed the Fabrication Process Engineering Division, to clearly indicate its role in leading process engineering in the fabrication field throughout the Group. |
| （4）Establishment of the new CTO Office |
The CTO Office will be established to further enhance and put into practice the management of technology under the leadership of the CTO. |
