Foamed PP sandwich panel is a material made by sandwiching foamed polypropylene sheets in UD tapes.
Light and hard, it helps reducing part weight while retaining strength.
In addition, thanks to the heat-retaining properties of foamed PP, the material can be used as high-strength insulation.
1. Light and hard
By reinforcing hard foamed sheets with UD tape, weight can be reduced by half to 80% while keeping displacement under bending force to about the same amount that would be exhibited by aluminum.
2. Allows weight and strength to be controlled
By specifying the expansion ratio, you can control weight and strength.
3. Offers excellent heat retention
Thanks to the heat-retaining properties of foam sheets, the material can be used as high-strength insulation.
